The Maqui is a small, dark purple berry from a tree that grows in the temperate forests of Patagonia, from central to southern Chile and southwestern Argentina, also known as maqui ( Aristotelia chilensis (Molino) Stuntz.)
This wild berry is rich in many nutrients and its content of anthocyanin- type flavonoids stands out, among which delphinidins predominate . These compounds are responsible for the color of these berries, as well as their benefits for human health.
MaquiConfort ® is a patented extract of Maqui berries (MaquiBright ® ) standardized in flavonoids: 35% total anthocyanins and 25% delphinidins .
The formula is completed with vitamins B2 and C that help protect cells against oxidative damage. Vitamin B2 also contributes to the maintenance of vision and mucous membranes.
Yeast enriched with chromium is also incorporated, an organic form of this highly absorbed mineral. Chromium helps maintain healthy blood glucose levels.
