Zinc is a food supplement of aminochelated zinc ( organic form), a patented complex of zinc and L-methionine in a 1:1 ratio (L-OptiZinc ® ), with high bioavailability and absorption by the body.
Zinc chelated with the amino acid L-methionine (L-OptiZinc ® ) allows this mineral to be better absorbed and retained longer in tissues than other forms of zinc.
The chelate character protects zinc from the binding and precipitation of phosphates, phytates and tannins from the diet, and thanks to them its absorption is not altered.
